Incoloy 825 Bar

This alloy is also consists of nickel-iron-chromium, and in addition to that molybdenum and copper are also present. This alloy was particularly formed to generate an exclusive nickel steel alloy that has extraordinary resistance to most corrosive environments. It shares similarity with alloy 800, though its resistance to aqueous corrosion is notch higher. Its outstanding resistance has no limits and is viable to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to the precipitation such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Other than that, it is also resistant to phosphoric acid and sulfuric acids. Alloy 825 is applicable in chemical procedures, equipment that are used to control pollution, oil and gas well piping, reprocessing of nuclear fuel, acid manufacturing, and pickling apparatus.
Properties of incoloy 825
• Exceptional resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents
• Well resistant to stress-corrosion crackling
• Immune to sulfuric and phosphoric acids
• Holds satisfactory mechanical properties at both normal and raised temperatures that could go up to 1020° F
• Resistant to limited attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion
